It is amazing how one can rid onesself of a toxic person and then feel this wonderful lightness, as if a huge burden had been lifted off the soul.
When a certain relative of mine passed away I did not grieve because that person had been the cause of so much unhappiness from my childhood and there simply was no love available for the usual reaction on my part.
Why some people cannot learn the simple principle about relationships. In order to receive love you must give love first. It is rather odd that someone cannot grasp such a basic idea.
